Yoga has resumed at The Avenue Club with 2 classes on Wednesdays and our yoga members are delighted to be back!
Barbara has been teaching for almost 40 years in all aspects of yoga. She believes in working to your capacity but giving your best.
Hatha yoga is a floor- based practice suitable for all ages and abilities. The class is based on breathing exercises, meditation, relaxation, mindfulness and postures to aid the body with these techniques.
This helps to balance the body physically and mentally in a varied and enjoyable manner.
Classes are open for anyone but you must be able to get up and down from the floor.
You should wear loose clothing, with no tight belts or jewellery and bring your own mat.
